Kimchi Fried Rice
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 little onion, minced
1 garlic clove, minced
3 cups cooked rice
1 cup chopped kimchi
2 tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 cup finely sliced green onions (reserving some for garnish)
4 boiled eggs
Salt and freshly cracked black pepper

Heat the oil in a substantial skillet around medium-significant warmth. Add the onion and cook right up until it softens, 2 to 3 minutes. Increase the garlic and prepare dinner right up until it is aromatic, 30 seconds. Incorporate the rice, kimchi and soy sauce. Prepare dinner, stirring, right up until the rice and kimchi have heated via, 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in most of the inexperienced onions and eliminate from warmth. 2 tablespoons agave
1 pink chili, finely minced
2 garlic cloves, grated
1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
1 lime, zest and juice

3 cups cooked rice noodles
2 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
2 carrots, julienned
1 cup shredded cabbage
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1/4 cup chopped mint
1/4 cup finely sliced inexperienced onions

  8. Okay, usually I don't like nitpicking other people's recipes, but kimchi fried rice is (1) not a "brand-new" take on fried rice. Koreans have been doing it for generations. And (2) the vegetable oil NEEDS to be sesame oil. I haven't had a single dish of kimchi fried rice that didn't taste strongly of sesame oil. I may not be Korean, but I've lived there for the past 7 years and kimchi fried rice is one of my favorite dishes. I've ordered it frequently and from many different places over the years.

  9. Love your vietnamese noodle!!!!!!! If you don't mind, Sara- may I introduce my husband recipe to your kimchi fried rice? Try stirfrying kimchi first and add rice. Korean gochujang paste works with it well. Mix with sesame oil at the last step. Korean kimchi usually contains garlic and onion already- you can save some steps by stirfrying kimchi at first!๐Ÿ˜Š Thanks for your healthy ideas (and I also look forward to following your new Friday supper adventures!) ๐Ÿ˜˜
